BEN's eyes flickered open. He rolled over and nearly fell out of bed, seeing that he wasn't alone. "Jeff??" He said in shock. "Oh wait....I fell asleep in his bed." BEN chuckled. He looked at the boy's pale face and noticed that something was off. "...Jeff?" He ran his hand across Jeff's face. "I see." BEN said, sadly. "Crying in his sleep again." He knew that the only time Jeff cried in his sleep was when he was in a lot of pain. "I wonder why....Oh. Today's the anniversary of that." BEN stood on the bed and looked at the small picture on Jeff's shelf. "It's been five years now since you died. Eh, Liu...?" BEN sighed and sat down. "Don't worry, Jeff....BEN will make it all better..." BEN curled up next to Jeff. He closed his eyes and softly sang to the sleeping killer. The song was in a language that the humans called 'Japanese.' It was the one song that made Jeff smiled. And it still worked. BEN opened his eyes and gave a happy chuckle, seeing Jeff actually smile in his sleep.

Masky walked upstairs to the hallway, where BEN and Jeff's room was located. "Are those idiots still sleeping?" He went to knock on the door, but stopped after hearing BEN sing. Masky smiled. "That's right...today's the day....Keep him happy, BEN." Masky turned and walked back down the stairs, where Hoodie was waiting.
"Did you wake them?" Hoodie asked quietly.
"....No. Let's leave them be today." Masky walked off. Hoodie was shocked. The two Proxies had been in charge of the trainees for years and Hoodie had never once seen Masky just give those two the day off. Not willing to question his partner, Hoodie followed along quietly behind Masky.

After a while, BEN opened his eyes again. "Ah....fell asleep again. You awake yet, Jeff?" He looked over, to find that Jeff wasn't there. "Eh??" BEN sat up. "Jeff??"
"What?" Jeff responded, walking through the door with a towel around his neck. "Good morning, Sunshine." Jeff grinned. BEN tilted his head a bit.
"I'm still in your bed. You didn't move me?"
"Why would I? It's evil to wake someone up while they're sleeping." Jeff picked up his hoodie, a shirt, and a pair of Jeans. "Plus, I wouldn't wake you after that."
"'That'?" BEN questioned, then remembered him singing to Jeff earlier. "Oh! That!"
"Yeah....thank you for that." Jeff smiled and opened the door. "And besides, you look way too adorable while your sleeping to wake up." Jeff chuckled and closed the door.
"Adorable....?" BEN's face turned bright red. "Eep!"
