"I see....So Jack is interested in becoming young Liu's partner?"
"That's right, Master." Hoodie stood in Slender's chamber, hoping that he would allow the two to be together. Jack had been extremely lonely since his friend BOB was sent back to their old master, Enderman. Slender turned.
"Very well. Send the two on a trial mission. I want to see how well the two can work together."
"Yes, Master." Hoodie bowed and headed for the door.
"Keep an eye on Masky. If he gets any sicker, you know what to do."
"....Yes." Hoodie walked out. "Liu! Jack! Downstairs!" He called out as he walked through the hall. The two came out of their rooms and followed.
"What's wrong?" Liu asked. Hoodie turned around.
"You two have been given an opportunity. You will be going on a simple mission for Master to see if you two are compatible as partners. And Liu, this will give you a good chance to fully learn all of Jack's signals." Since Jack couldn't really speak, he had certain gestures and movements. It was like a human using sign language. Liu looked at Jack and smiled.
"Alright! Sounds awesome!" Hoodie handed Liu an envelope.
"Good. Here's who you're going to take out and where he's hiding. Good luck and be careful." He opened up a Gate, and the two ran through. Hoodie sighed. "Now I have my own little mission." He turned and headed for his room. Jeff stood at the top of the stairs.
"Where are they going?"
"On a mission."
"What?! You sent Liu on a mission without telling me?! What if something happens??"
"Don't worry, Jeff. Your brother will be fine. Jack is with him." Jeff threw his arms up.
"Yeah! Because that's SO much better!"
"Oh, come on. You know Jack would never hurt Liu. Unless his mask was taken off."
"Ah!" Jeff yelled, starting to freak out. Hoodie chuckled and went to his room.
"Masky?" Hoodie walked in and smiled a bit, seeing Masky asleep. He walked into their bathroom. "...." He wasn't surprised when he saw blood in the sink. "You poor boy..." He turned back and looked at his sleeping partner. "You better hope to Zalgo that you don't come back, Tim. Because you're in for a world of pain if you do."
